A flexible magnetic strip is inside the extruded Magnetite Vinyl Molding which grips the edge of an acrylic window.  The magnet attaches to a flush steel surface.  The magnetite edging is available for replacement of existing Magnetite windows or for fabricating new ones.  There are several similar products, some that may have the steel built into the edging.  Please use the pictures to verify this is the product you need.

Brown Magnetite Edging

Commercial edging is our standard product.   Commercial edging is for acrylic that is 3 mm or about 1/8" thick.  Residential edging is for acrylic 2.5mm or 3/32" thick and has been discontinued, so we have limited stock available.  Soundproof edging is for 1/4" thick acrylic.  It is not stocked and special order.  Orders for soundproof edging are noncancellable and non-returnable.

Several different lengths are available.  The standard length is 6ft.  These can be shipped via Fedex ground.  We can custom cut the edging to your desired length, this will incur an additional handling charge.
